Unleash The Power Of Blockchain

The Worldwide Blockchain Innovation Association (WBIA) is a non-profit member organisation focused on blockchain uses.
We aim to create an environment in which academia, industry partners and policy makers together can advance the adoption of
distributed ledger technology in supply chains and logistics, promoting regional trade and economic prosperity.

The WBIA works with governments, industry, companies and academics to develop solutions for the changes that blockchain will
have on many existing structures and entities. We also link businesses with government, other businesses and academics.
Our international focus and our combination of research, policy co-ordination and government engagement set us apart from other
blockchain organisations.

Goals

What We Do

The Worldwide Blockchain Innovation Association (WBIA) is a global association which combines numerous roles so that it can effectively act as a recognised blockchain expert, a trusted adviser to governments and a source of credible information for its members.

Comprised of leading academics and industry partners, the WBIA works in a collaborative environment with academia, industry partners and policy makers to advance the adoption of distributed ledger technology in supply chains and logistics, and to promote regional trade and economic prosperity.

The WBIA aims to grow cross-border trade and the global economy through the identification of the strategic advantages and opportunities for blockchain in business and society.

The development and implementation of these blockchain solutions will enhance efficiencies for governments, businesses, industries and organisations.

We develop these solutions through the use of high-quality, credible, world-leading academic research, and ensure their implementation, and the necessary multi-national policy co-ordination through international advocacy.

Establish a global industry consortium of firms focused on open standards and global regulatory harmonisation for distributed ledger supply chains and logistics applications.

Establish a think tank focused on helping policymakers and the public navigate the complex policy questions to ensure that blockchain technology can be adopted in a way that benefits the economy in society.

Educate domestic and global institutions (such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation group) about the importance of ‘crypto-friendly’ policy settings.

Advocate for policy settings that encourage the development of blockchain technology and its application.

Coordinate blockchain researchers and policy experts across universities, think tanks, blockchain associations, and industry associations at a global level.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Worldwide Blockchain Innovation Association (WBIA) – an association focused on providing you with the best research, information and contacts to ensure that you and your organisation can make the most out of blockchain and the possibilities it provides.

The WBIA works with governments, industry, companies and academics to develop solutions for the changes that blockchain will have on many existing structures and entities.

Our international focus and our combination of research, policy co-ordination and government engagement set us apart from other blockchain organisations.

Membership of the WBIA includes listing in our membership directory and introductions to other members, access to exclusive research, reports and analysis, our regular newsletter, the opportunity to input into policy positions and international engagement, invitations to member only events, and the opportunity to contract research projects from our experts at a discounted membership rate.

The WBIA also offers two other exclusive membership categories; Advisory Council membership and Executive Membership, which are further detailed below.

Membership is also offered at a discounted rate for government bodies, non-profit entities and academics.

These WBIA membership categories allow further input into policy positions through membership of the WBIA Advisory Board, which will hold regular meetings with the WBIA leadership.
